Seth T. Hunter

Seth joined the firm in 2012; since joining he has represented individuals and businesses in a wide range of civil litigation matters. Seth primarily represents clients in insurance coverage disputes, extra-contractual litigation, and declaratory judgment actions. In addition, Seth represents clients in multiple areas outside of the insurance coverage context, including premises liability, automobile liability/personal injury, and other general civil defense cases. Seth has represented clients at all levels of litigation, including mediation, summary judgment, trial, and appeal.

Seth also provides pre-litigation advice to clients, which includes providing detailed insurance coverage analyses, advising clients during the investigation of a claim, and advising clients with regard to appraisal under insurance policies.

Prior to joining the firm, Seth clerked for the Honorable Nicole Gordon Still in the Circuit Court of Jefferson County, Alabama.

Seth represents clients in state and federal courts in Alabama and Tennessee. Seth is a member of the Alabama State Bar, the Tennessee State Bar, the Birmingham Bar Association, and the Alabama Defense Lawyers Association. Seth is also licensed in the United States District Court for the Northern, Middle, and Southern Districts of Alabama and the United States District Court for the Middle District of Tennessee.
